About

ReVerse – Typeset Your Life, thoughts, loves, hates and musings.

If you are a typophile, loving what is physical, rather than digital and ephemeral about letterforms, then this is for you.

The cast type is sold individually either mounted or unmounted, raw or painted any Farrow & Ball colour to allow almost anything to be created. These letterforms are hand-cast from antique wooden type and they bear the stamps of makers and damage/alterations from years of use. These idiosyncrasies bring character to the words created with them. As the letterforms are reversed they work well in interior locations where mirrors and reflective surfaces abound. The examples shown within this shop are not exhaustive, but give an idea of how the letterforms have been put to use.

There are currently two sizes available:

Serif - 25mm high (ascenders and descenders 31mm), 24 mm deep and varying widths based on the character in question. Upper and lower case letters, numbers and punctuation available.

Serif – 100mm high, 24mm deep and varying widths based on the character in question. Upper case letters and ampersand available.

In addition, they can be made available in a variety of materials (plaster, cement, resin). Bespoke mounting and framing is also available.

Mould-making

Additional typefaces and sizes are currently in development.
